NEALS is excited to partner with Westminster School for an in-person member gathering centered on a challenge many of us are navigating in our school communities: focus. With increasingly full schedules, competing priorities, and a world filled with distractions, what is getting in the way of our students' ability to focus, and how can we better support them?

Join fellow learning specialists for an opportunity to step outside our individual school communities, build meaningful connections, and engage in thoughtful conversations about the many factors influencing attention and engagement. Together, we will explore how to distinguish learning needs that may require targeted support from challenges shaped by habits, wellness, and environmental demands. We will also turn the lens toward ourselves, considering how the expectations of independent school life impact our own ability to focus and how our schools' robust programs may unintentionally create competing demands for students.

Come ready to share experiences, ask questions, and learn alongside colleagues as we explore these challenges with curiosity, collaboration, and a shared commitment to supporting the students and communities we serve. We look forward to welcoming you!
